How does it work?

Brainspotting is a neuro-experiential modality that simply works by utilizing focal eye positions to uncover "Brainspots" – specific areas in the brain holding our memories and experiences in the deep brain.

Through this focused attention or mindfulness, as well as the attunement between you and the practitioner, you will be gently guided to process underlying nervous system dysregulation at its core.

Brainspotting is a gentle, non-pathologizing and targeted approach that is designed to support the identification, processing, and releasing of the core sources of emotional and physical distress, trauma, dissociation of your experiences. And without the agenda of trying to fix or change what happened in your past, Brainspotting brings about your own inner resources to the surface and allows for your resilience to shine.
